Cooperation with sales partner Saclima Solar Fotovoltaica expanded to more than 100 million euros on basis of long-term agreement
SCHOTT Solar has broadened its cooperation with sales partner Saclima Solar Fotovoltaica to expand the company’s presence on the Spanish market. Saclima has already been marketing SCHOTT Solar modules since 2005. Now the two partners have closed an agreement for the next five years with a volume of more than 100 million euros. Within the framework of this agreement, Saclima will add the SCHOTT Solar SCHOTT POLY 165 and SCHOTT POLY 220 modules to its sales program.
Saclima is considered as the leading distributor of PV systems in Spain and has built up its own sales network for the exclusive supply of installation companies in order to guarantee the high quality of the installed systems. This company’s strong focus on quality makes it an ideal partner for SCHOTT Solar, who wants to sell high-quality systems on the Spanish market.
Saclima has already been active on the solar market for the past 25 years. In 2002, the company branched out into the strategic field of PV in order to gain a foothold on the rapidly growing Spanish market. “SCHOTT Solar and Saclima Solar Fotovoltaica have the same philosophy of quality and both have long years of experience in the solar business. This and the success we have experienced to date have shown us that we are a very good match,” says Michael Harre, a member of the SCHOTT Solar GmbH management board.
Mario Tardío, Director Comercial at Saclima, comments: “Saclima values SCHOTT Solar very highly as a reliable partner with whom we will enjoy a very professional, constructive working relationship. We look forward to a partnership that will continue to grow in the future.”
