Carlos Babij and his wife Duffy were flown to beautiful Neckarsulm Germany. They were able to learn first hand how KACO Solar, Inc. is committed to the production of top of the line inverters. “KACO is an exemplary company. They really talk the talk AND walk the walk when it comes to energy efficiency and ensuring zero emissions manufacturing. It was great to see it in person.” Carlos Babij, SPG Solar

For many folks their Solar Power 2007 Expo in Long Beach agenda was packed with beautifully orchestrated parties. Most companies hosted an event that had been planned for months prior. KACO Solar was no different. In addition to hosting over 100 of their closest partners and potential clients on a pleasure cruise ship for a few relaxing hours taking in the beautiful views of the Long Beach coastline, KACO offered their guests the opportunity to participate in a raffle on board. The grand prize was a free trip for two to Neckarsulm, Germany; home to KACO headquarters and manufacturing facilities. After giving away a handful of great prizes including KACO products and gift certificates Carlos Babij of SPG Solar was chosen by Sue Kateley of CAL SEIA from a KACO cap as the lucky winner of the trip. Carlos was ecstatic and swore on board “I’ve never won anything like this before in my life!”

After two months of eager anticipation Carlos and his lovely wife Duffy Ross boarded a Lufthansa flight and were taken to Neckarsulm.  The pair was greeted by KACO Gerätetechnik’s top leaders Ralf Hofman and Matthias Haag.  After spending some quality time at the lovely and luxurious Insel Hotel in downtown Neckarsulm the couple was given the grand tour of all three facilities in KACO’s electric vehicles.  Carlos and Duffy spent a week touring the area around Neckarsulm and shared a medieval dinner with KACO sales team and management and walked the beautiful Neckar river.  Ralf Hofman, president of KACO Gerätetechnik GmbH held a special dinner in their honor.  Carlos made a point of mentioning that Mr. Hofman was one of the funniest and welcoming people he met while in Germany.

KACO is serious about showing the US solar industry the top notch quality procedures that have been put in place to produce the KACO blueplanet inverters.  KACO has made producing an inverter with near 99.99% uptime their most important priority.  In addition to ensuring a fail proof product KACO guarantees that the inverters they produce also result in zero carbon emissions during their creation. In order to ensure US installers are aware of how important these two distinct and important missions are to them, KACO will continue to send KACO partners to their factories.  KACO Solar is looking forward to offering other installers this wonderful opportunity.  If you are interested in going to Germany and learning first hand about a truly superior inverter that is manufactured using a zero emissions manufacturing technique, contact KACO today at 866-522-7652.
