Tecta America, the nation’s largest roofing contractor, announces the launch of Tecta Solar, a division of Tecta America dedicated to the development of turnkey solar energy systems. Tecta Solar’s expertise encompasses the design, engineering, financing, installation, maintenance, warranty, and monitoring performance to ensure the best possible results for its clients and investors.
Adding development and financing capabilities to its solar installation and roof maintenance capabilities allows Tecta to provide a comprehensive and bankable solution to both customers and project investors. “We work with clients to assess their tax situation and energy needs in order to develop customized solar solutions that maximize the benefits of federal, state and local incentives,” said Mark Santacrose, CEO and President of Tecta America Corp.
Comprised of a team of experienced professional solar developers, Tecta Solar understands the nuances and complexities involved in completing a successful solar installation. Ken Beiser and Samir Dube were former heads of solar development and finance in the U.S. for a leading global solar company before becoming the Managing Directors of Tecta Solar, reporting to Santacrose. They lead the development and financing of commercial and utility scale solar projects, leveraging Tecta America’s nationwide relationships with commercial, government and utility clients. They are joined by Ted Middleton, director of sales for Tecta Solar and Katie Riedo, Tecta Solar’s development analyst. Also joining the Tecta Solar team is project manager Jay Levin, with a background in engineering and finance including the development, design, and construction of large-scale solar installations in the U.S.
