ersol Thin Film GmbH (ersol Thin Film), a subsidiary of ersol Solar Energy AG, today signed a contract with Ralos Vertriebs GmbH (Ralos) for the supply of about 40 MWp thin-film modules. Amorphous thin-film modules are to be supplied to the German solar distributor over a period of three years from 2008.
“We were impressed by the quality of ersol’s thin-film modules. They are ideally suited to our open space systems,” says Günter Schölzl, General Manager of Ralos Vertriebs GmbH. “In Ralos we have found a highly experienced photovoltaics partner who specialises, amongst other things, in large open spaces and roof systems. We look forward to the cooperation. The ersol Group was already familiar with Ralos as a reliable and competent partner through major projects with ersol trading subsidiary aimex-solar GmbH. The signing of the contract marks a new dimension in our relationship,” says Peter Schneidewind, Board Member of ersol Solar Energy AG responsible for the thin-film activities. Further important contracts related to thinfilm modules activities are in the offing, as ersol Thin Film GmbH is currently engaged in promising negotiations with potential customers.
