The-China-Solar-Cell-Industry-Report-2006-2007-Is-Available
Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/reports/c74234) has announced the addition of ?China Solar Cell Industry Report, 2006-2007? to their offering. As the inexhaustible renewable energy as well as the clean energy, solar energy does not cause any environmental pollution. Among various effective applications of solar energy, the photoelectric utilization has been the most booming and vigorous research field in the past years, which enjoys enormous industrialization prospect.
In addition, the construction energy consumption accounts for 25% of the total social energy consumption, of which construction heating, air conditioning and illumination respectively share 14%, and building energy consumption holds 11%; and this proportion may be further escalated in the future. Therefore, in the guideline of the 11th Five-Year Plan, Chinese government definitely announced to build up an energy-saving and environment-friendly society. The plan guideline points out that by the year 2010, the GDP energy consumption per unit will be decreased by 20%. Hence, the effective utilization of renewable energy, especially of solar energy, will have far-reaching impact on China’s energy structure.
Widely used in outer space, solar lights, solar vehicles and yachts, transportation facilities, communication, home appliances and ground application, solar cell is playing a special role.
The production capacity of newly-built cell production lines in 2005 had exceeded the sum of the past years, amounting to 145.7MW. In 2006, this number surpassed 300MW, and the production capacity reached 1449MW historically, accounting for 70% of the world’s gross output.
According to the estimation of SEIA, America’s domestic solar energy market may grow at above 35% in the forthcoming 5 years. Recently, DOE allied with insiders engaged in construction industry to launch the plan that boosts Americans to reduce 50% of the electricity consumption in the following two decades. Japan, with special emphasis on solar energy PV power generation, have installed 1.42 million kilowatts by the end of 2005, accounting for 44% of the world’s total. The continuous market application promoted the progress in PV cell technology as well as the decline in production cost, and the current market price of PV cell has dropped to about RMB 40 per kilowatt. According to the statistics of European Renewable Energy Institute, by the end of 2006, 25 EU member countries had been using over 20 million square meters of solar panels, and the generated heat energy was equivalent to 14280 MW of power electricity.
