The immersion liquid contains preferably at least one compound selected from a group consisting of metal oxides, metal salt compounds, and metal alkoxides. Metal elements contained in the metal oxides, metal salt compounds, and metal alkoxides are zinc and metal elements having a band gap wider than that of zinc oxide in form of their oxides and a conduction band level more basic than that of zinc oxide. The dye-sensitized solar cell comprises a photoelectrode obtained by depositing a sensitizing dye in the porous zinc oxide electrode.

Abstract: To layer a display and a solar cell so that a display content of the display is not affected by power generation efficiency of the solar cell.
SOLUTION: A red color light-degraded solar cell block 29 of a dye-sensitized solar cell 28 is always irradiated with light except red color light among radiation light transmitted by a full color electronic paper 21. A blue color light-degraded solar cell block 30 is irradiated with light except blue color light among the radiation light transmitted by the full color electronic paper 21. A green color light-degraded solar cell block 31 is always irradiated with light except green color light among the radiation light transmitted by the full color electronic paper 21. The invention can be applied to an IC card and a compact electronic device.

This solar cell 10 includes: a base material 12; a first resin layer 14 formed on the base material 12 by silkscreen printing; a first electrode 16 formed on the first resin layer 14; a power generation layer 18 formed on the first electrode 16, including iodine, dye and titanium oxide, and generating power by bringing light therein; a second electrode 20 formed on the power generation layer 18; and a second resin layer 24 covering the first electrode 16, the power generation layer 18 and the second electrode 20, and closely attached to a peripheral part of the first resin layer 14.
